New course available in the ZEvRA Academy!

We are pleased to introduce the course:
“Quality, Traceability & Standardisation of Recycled Materials”

Developed within the ZEvRA project, this course explores how recycled materials can effectively support the transition towards circular and low-carbon industrial systems.

  • The key role of recycled materials in a circular economy
  • Main quality challenges: variability, contamination, performance requirements
  • How traceability systems ensure transparency across complex supply chains
  • The importance of standards and regulations for industrial adoption
  • Real industry case studies, including applications in the EV sector

  • Digital product passports
  • AI-enabled traceability
  • Global harmonisation of standards

Led by Dr. Jikai Zhang (Northumbria University), this training provides both conceptual understanding and practical insights to support professionals working in sustainability, manufacturing, and circular economy.
