Fraunhofer IWU represented the ZEvRA project last week at the APRA Europe AISBL European Symposium in Thessaloniki, Greece.
As project coordinator, Daniel Nebel provided an overview of the ZEvRA mission to transform the automotive industry through circularity. His presentation, “Designing Circular Vehicle Architectures,” focused on the practical application of modularity and how we are implementing the ZEvRA circular assessment approach to evaluate the sustainability of next-generation vehicle components.
Key Highlights: Engineering for Longevity: Strategies for integrating remanufacturing into initial vehicle design.
Standardised Metrics: Using our assessment approach to ensure measurable circularity across the entire supply chain.
Throughout 2026, the ZEvRA project will continue sharing the progress and vision of our work stay tuned for more events coming up!
