We are proud to introduce Prof. Dr. Jorge Lacayo from Continental, a key member of our scientific committee helping shape the program for the Second International Conference on Circular Materials and Mobility (CIRMA 2026), taking place this 24–25 November 2026 at the Volkswagen Group Gläserne Manufaktur in Dresden, Germany.

As a leading global tier-one supplier, Continental is at the forefront of sustainable automotive engineering, driving critical advancements in circular economy strategies for components, tyres, and rubber solutions.

Prof. Dr. Lacayo brings decades of invaluable industry and academic expertise to the CIRMA program. Currently serving as Continental’s Head of the Expert Field for Materials Evaluation in Hanover, he is also an Honorary Professor at Leibniz Universität Hannover and chairs several international rubber standardisation groups at ISO and ASTM.
