Graphene in Action – Exploring the potential of advanced materials

The GIANCE project has launched the Graphene in Action podcast series, bringing together researchers and industry experts from across Europe to discuss the development and application of graphene in different sectors.

The first three episodes explore:
Graphene Production – production approaches, scale-up and the challenges of moving graphene towards industrial applications.

Graphene in Sensors – applications ranging from structural monitoring in automotive and aerospace composites to biosensing and medical devices.

Graphene in Composites – how graphene can contribute to the mechanical, thermal and electrical performance of composite materials, with a focus on automotive and aerospace applications.

Across the episodes, the discussions also touch on broader questions around industrialisation, qualification, standardisation and collaboration between research and industry.

For those working in advanced materials, lightweighting, composites, mobility and related fields, the series provides insights into ongoing developments and the challenges involved in bringing graphene-based technologies closer to application.

The first three episodes are now available on Spotify.
