On the road to zero-emission vehicles with aluminum foam.
As part of our commitment to sustainability and Havel Metal Foam’s broader efforts, we have joined the ZEvRA project (Zero Emission electric Vehicles enabled by haRmonised circulArity), which was launched in early 2024. This EU-supported initiative brings together 28 partners from 11 countries and aims to establish or improve the principles of the circular economy along the entire value chain of electric vehicles – from the supply chain and production to end-of-life processes. To achieve this, the project involves the development of tools, methods, and evaluation mechanisms, with the concrete results being presented in a concept vehicle.
We are proud to be able to contribute to this, for example through the use of recycled aluminum in our foam components.
